Yes, we know it is not ideal but we can't always plan for accidents and unfortunately placement can be an emergency.

Here at Helping Hands Senior Services we have a process we follow in order to assist you in finding a place for your loved one.

Step 1: Phone consult with one of our Senior Placement Specialist to gather information regarding the seniors background, care needs, likes, dislikes, desired area, and financial situation.

Step 2: After gathering information, we present you with specific options we feel are appropriate for your situation. We then schedule a time for one of our Senior Care Consultants to meet with family or friends to tour homes.

Step 3: The family and senior, if able, are encouraged to tour the facilities. They are welcome to go on their own. However, we would like to accompany you while touring, to assist with questions and support.

We always say, “Take a deep breath and follow your gut before making a decision.”

No, Medicare and Medicaid do not cover the costs of assisted living. While they do cover some medical expenses for seniors, they do not provide financial assistance for non-medical services, such as room and board in assisted living facilities.

This means seniors and their families will need to cover the costs of assisted living.

Our experienced Senior Placement Agents can help walk you through what options are best for your personal financial situation.
